Are you beginning a gay or lesbian relationship?
Are you in the process of coming out to friends and family?
Were you previously married or in a long-term relationship with someone of the opposite sex?
The BAFTA award-winning team at The Garden Productions is making a new documentary series for Channel 4 about love and relationships.
We would like to hear from people who are coming to terms with their sexual identity later in life. Perhaps you were previously married and you have children from that relationship. Whatever your story, we would like to hear from you.
Please email love@thegardenproductions.tv or call Becky on 020 3465 9060 to find out more.
Getting in touch does not oblige you to take part in the series.

We are now making a documentary series for Channel 4 about love and relationships. This intelligent and sensitive series will reflect relationships throughout a lifetime – from the first kiss to the final farewell and everything else in between. Across the generations, we will explore what it really means to be in love.
We're looking to talk to people from all walks of life who can give us an insight into their experiences of love at a significant stage in their lives. I'd particularly like to talk to people who are coming to terms with their sexual identity later in life and who are in the process of coming out as gay or lesbian to their family and friends. Perhaps they may just be beginning a same-sex relationship after having been married or in a long-term relationship with someone of the opposite sex, and perhaps they have teenage or grown-up children from that relationship.
As a gay woman myself, I am passionate about representing the lesbian and gay community in this landmark series. I appreciate that the decision to come out, especially later in life, can be a difficult and scary one, but I hope it will reassure you and others to know that although coming out to family and friends in my twenties, I have struggled with accepting my sexuality and understand that it is an ongoing process. As such, the film would deal with the issues around coming out as gay or lesbian sensitively and intelligently.
Just to reassure people, there is absolutely no obligation to commit to taking part in the series so if anyone is interested to find out more or to have a confidential research chat, they can email me at love@thegardenproductions.tv or call The Garden on 020 3465 9060.
